 God told Joshua that they should praise Him. If they had wanted to use their human strength, they could not have gotten into Jericho. God ministered to Joshua to use the power of praise to surround the walls of Jericho and through this we saw that the walls of Jericho fell down totally(the power of praise).

       We see that Jesus Christ himself when he was with the people gave praise to God saying I know you  always answer me. We see here that even though he had power He knew that praises does things quicker.

       Another example is David. David said give praise to God oh my soul and all that is within me. Looking at ourselves we ought to know that we are better than some people who are not privileged like we to freely sing praise, brethren what is your problem that makes you think you cannot overcome just give Him what he ask and see how he will fight your battles for you.

       God deserves our praise so we should give Him. In the books of II Chronicles 20 vs 22, a powerful king wrote a letter to Jerusalem that he is coming to fight with them. We all know the story but the people of Jerusalem lifted up their voices and selected people that would sing praises onto God and God  fought the battle himself without the people of Jerusalem doing anything likewise Paul and Silas when thrown into prison, we saw that they were not worried at all but instead they sang praises and there was a great storm and all the gate of the prison opened. Of all the various department in the Garden of God we see that Singing is the most Important so I beseech  us all to always praise GOD.

  PRAYER: Lord help me to keep praising You in all situations.

                  Lord don't let me sing on earth and miss Heaven.
